Naraka was founded in 2019 by Jean-Philippe Porteux, the band's guitarist. Naraka's style is a mix of modern metal and death-metal with symphonic and sometimes even electro touches. The debut album "In Tenebris" was produced by Logan Mader and was released in 2021 via Blood Blast for digital and Season of Mist for physical.
This first opus featured Lindsay Schoolcraft (ex Cradle of Filth) and Veronica Bordacchini of Fleshgod Apocalypse as guests.
Naraka toured throught Europe, supporting Cradle of Filth, Alcest, Nile, and Krisiun.
The second album, "Born in Darkness," will be release in 2025 via Art Gates Records, again produced by Logan Mader and featuring a guest track from Septicflesh's Sotiris
